Visiting the Farm

We'd like to welcome you to the farm for a visit!

You are able to taste some of our sheep milk gelato and frozen kefir, go for a walk to enjoy the farm land. On the walk you will see and here different species of plants, birds, and landscapes. If you are lucky you may even see one of our resident deer or wild turkeys.

 

ART DEMONSTRATIONS

Each Sunday Jennifer will be demonstrating an art technique which could range from printmaking to spinning yarn. Jennifer's beautiful farm and nature inspired artwork is on display in the studio. Demos may include activities such as:

  • spinning wool
  • felting wool
  • watercolour painting
  • field sketching
  • oil painting
  • making natural paint
  • natural dying
  • printmaking - linocut, block printing, and intaglio
  • charcoal making
  • charcoal drawing
  • papermaking
  • papermaking

 

FARM SAFETY

Being a working farm, we do have some safety rules that need to be followed for both the animals', and the people's well being.

  • Wear close-toed shoes 
  • Shoes you don't mind getting a bit muddy
  • Dogs need to be on-lead
  • Children must be accompanied
  • No entering the farm-buildings
  • Don't feed the animals
